Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack Developer (backend-focused) to join our team in Amsterdam. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior developer who wants to grow with us on the job while working on real-world, large-scale products. You’ll primarily focus on the backend but will also touch the frontend stack when needed.

You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to improve existing features, build new functionality, and help scale our platforms to support millions of sessions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python (Django).
• Implement asynchronous tasks and scheduling with Celery.
• Manage and optimize databases with PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy and maintain services on Kubernetes, using Docker and HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
• Work with container registries to manage builds and deployments.
• Support frontend teams by integrating backend services with Astro.js and Svelte components.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize both backend and frontend features.
• Learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
  
  

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in software development (internships and personal projects count).
• Knowledge of Python and ideally some experience with Django.
• Familiarity with Celery and PostgreSQL (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Interest or basic exposure to DevOps (Kubernetes, Docker, Vault, registries).
• Basic frontend skills in JavaScript, with exposure to Astro.js or Svelte a plus.
• Eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Amsterdam – this is not a remote role.
